Caramel Corn
Shannon White is someone Grandma Diana worked with at Corn Wagon. Shannon would bring this yummy caramel corn for them to snack on at the quilt store. She said it was her mother's recipe.
Equipment
- 1 LARGE bowl
- 1 Saucepan
Ingredients
- 3 bags microwave popcorn, popped regular sized
- 2 cubes butter
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 24 marshmallows regular sized
- salted peanuts optional
Instructions
- Pop popcorn in microwave and place in a LARGE bowl, removing unpopped kernels.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter, sugar, and marshmallows. When marshmallows have melted and everything is combined, pour over popcorn.
- Add peanuts, if using.
- Stir to coat.
